This is Akiyoshi Kasahara, the president for Asahi Trading Co., Ltd.

Asahi Trading Co., Ltd., as a trading company specializing in chemicals in Japan-China trade, aims to be your best partner by providing carefully-crafted services and prompt and accurate information.

Since its establishment in 1988, we have developed high-quality products that are accepted by the Japanese market and provided them to the Japanese market by combining the high-quality natural resources of China with the delicate technology of Japan. During that time, we have expanded our business by concluding exclusive sales agency contracts with many Chinese manufacturers. In addition, thanks to the cooperation of manufacturers and the deep trust of our customers, we have always maintained profitable management since taking office as president in 2006. In the meantime, China has achieved dramatic economic development, and in international trade, its position has changed from the world's production factories to consuming countries, and the products have also changed from basic chemicals to higher value-added products. At the same time, the environment surrounding China's chemical manufacturing industry has changed considerably. In particular, energy problems and environmental problems including carbon neutrality have become more unavoidable major problems in the last 10 years. We have been working on these problems from an early stage with the Chinese manufacturer partners, and have managed stable production and stable supply. We will continue to keep in close contact with our partner companies and provide more carefully-crafted services, prompt and accurate information, and stable, high-quality products.
